I don’t have a clue where you get one of these, and I know that this might give you the impression that I am some sort of animal, but I really want to find one… SOON!

This one I stumbled across on what appears to be some gun-nut’s site. (Don’t get me wrong, I oppose gun control, but you can spot a gun nut when you see one.)

Last week I posted about some unsolved mysteries from Lostpedia and my guesses as to how or if they would be explained. Here’s how I did…
My Guess: Just what exactly this thing is is not know and I’m guessing will be left up to the viewers’ imagination to decide.
Result: Pretty accurate. Though featured prominently in the finale, no more info was given.
My Guess: Since this creature hasn’t been seen since the early seasons, I’m thinking it constitutes an abandoned plot line. Over six seasons, there is bound to be a couple things that appeared to be important at the time that never ended up being relevant. (more…)
Since the folks a Lostpedia have decided to lock it down to new comments due to idiot placing spoilers and fake spoilers, let’s take a look here at the list of “Unsolved Mysteries” still left on LOST according to Lostpedia.
This refers to the mysterious cave that Mother showed Jacob and his brother and that Jacob eventually threw is brother into. It has the golden glow, a little of which is present in all men.
Mother says at one point in “Across the Sea” that the source is “Life, death, rebirth…” and then “…the heart of the island…” Most viewers heard this and thought “Yeah, yeah! Blah, blah, blah! Tell us what it is!”
Strictly speaking, the Source is a hole, in a cave, with a stream running into it and a gold light coming out of it.
All we really know is that Mother was there to protect it and eventually passed that job onto Jacob.
Based on the events of seasons 5 and 6, it appears that on of the remaining Losties is the candidate to take Jacob’s place.
