Spare Change

Everyone seems to be having a freak-out about the slight changes that have been undergone on Facebook recently. Today, Mark Zuckerberg announced the coming of even more, much more substantial changes to the way we interface via the world’s most popular social media site. I wanted to weigh in, talk a little bit about change, and maybe keep everyone’s collective head out of the oven – or at least keep you closing your Facebook account for awhile.

"Remain calm! All is well!"

When I was a kid, there were no cell phones. By the time I hit high school, there were brick phones, those big bulky things with the long, black antenna that you probably only saw on TV (at least if you lived in my area.) I can still remember people talking about how silly the thought of having a phone with you all day long, every day was.

Rolltop Computer

I don’t know how durable or practical it would be, but the geek in me really wants to play around with one of these.

Formula 1 Simulator

I’m officially adding this to my Christmas list.  If you decide to make y wish come true, please remember that I also need a small addition to my house so as to have room for the actual “gift”

Thank you!

Don’t Use Zaip.com

Yeah.  I was hosting images at Zaip.com because they gave no indication of a limit of time, size, or use.  Now suddenly, all the images I’ve added in the past few weeks are gone.

I’m going to attempt to remedy that tonight, but Zaip can kiss my butt.

Site Unseen

Have you ever been online and not been able to get to a site?  Of course you have, it happens to everyone.  When this happens at work, you can shout to the lemming in the next cubicle something like, “Is poop senders dot com down for everyone or is it just me?”  Usually you get a response to let you know if you are as alone as your wardrobe would lead us to believe.

If you’re at home, you can now enjoy the same sort of instant gratification that your cubicle neighbors have been able to provide you with for years.
