This book is like the college textbook version of The Psychopath Test. Just like that other book, this venture by Ms. Stout will have you looking at your friends, family, and neighbors and trying to figure out which ones might have some animal torture in their past.
The read is slower because it is written slightly headier, but the information is clear and above all disturbingly interesting.
